Regency Dancing and Whist

We learned a little about music and dancing in the Regency Era. The kids got pretty good at doing the steps as I called them out! And it's fun! Here are some basic steps to try:

We also learned how to play whist! (I am very pleased to now know what "a rubber of whist" is! I have heard it mentioned so many times in books!) Here are some simple instructions:


It isn't hard to play, although I don't know that any of us became good at it. Fun, though!
